Logistics space for supply and demand

People want everything faster, cheaper, greener. The logistics sector is a key provider of services to support these growing consumer expectations – increasing the need for greater efficiency and more sustainable practices within the supply chain.

Goodman has emerged as a provider of essential infrastructure to the digital economy. So we understand having sustainable warehouses located close to consumers is key to optimising supply chain efficiency, and being able to deliver goods to consumers when and how they want them.

Coupled with increased automation and use of artificial intelligence, strategically located distribution facilities can help increase throughput, and reduce transport related costs and emissions.

Transportation accounts for up to 70% of a company’s total logistics spend, while fixed facility costs including rent account for only 3% to 6%, according to CBRE1. We work with our contract logistics customers to reduce the cost and complexity in their supply chains, while providing a sustainable property that can help our customers on their own journeys to meet the growing expectations of consumers for sustainable delivery.

Our customers include both global and local contract logistics customers, many of which we have relationships in multiple markets. These include Australia Post, Ceva Logistics, DB Schenker, DHL, DSV, Fedex, Omlog, Maersk, Mainfreight, NZ Post, SF Express, Swire Group, and Yusen Logistics.
