Goodman completed its first afforestation project at Puurs Logistics Centre in Belgium.

With an undeveloped 2,000 sqm plot of land, Puurs Logistics Center was the ideal location for the afforestation project.

After a soil analysis and soil cultivation, the Goodman team in Belgium planted 6,000 yearlings from around 29 native tree species to improve local biodiversity and enhance the health and wellbeing of people in the community.

The trees were planted according to the Miyawaki method - a method developed by the Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki that ensures dense and native forests can grow in limited space in a relatively short amount of time.
