OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivering it, directly and free of charge, to more than 1,300 charities supporting people in need.

The Goodman Foundation has proudly supported OzHarvest since 2004 when OzHarvest's Founder and CEO, Ronni Kahn first had an idea about wanting to rescue food in Sydney and get it to those in need.

Since that time OzHarvest has redistributed over 8,100 tonnes of food which would otherwise be discarded, saved the equivalent of 409 Olympic sized swimming pools of water and delivered over 27.5 million meals to more than 550 charities supporting the vulnerable in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide.

“The Goodman Foundation are true partners of OzHarvest. Their support is absolutely fundamental to our ability to continue to grow and deliver on our strategic outcomes." Ronni Kahn, CEO & Founder, OzHarvest

As a founding partner Goodman has provided OzHarvest with office and warehousing facilities in several states and refrigerated vans since the beginning. In 2014, through the Goodman team and its generous supply partners, an incredible fit-for-purpose facility was built to house their head office and commercial kitchens in Goodman's Alexandria Industrial Estate, in South Sydney.

Other initiatives include the provision of a community vegetable garden, mentoring of team members and various other volunteering contributions under the Foundation’s ‘Do Good’ programme.
