Goodman is expanding its portfolio in the Regiopark Mönchengladbach with a new plot of land, covering around 60,000 sqm overall. The plan is to construct a logistics property of about 33,000 sqm, which can be divided into three units of around 10,000 sqm for customers looking to base themselves in this key logistics hotspot.

The Regiopark Mönchengladbach is one of the most important logistics hotspots on the Lower Rhine. It not only boasts excellent transport links to the Benelux countries, but also to the supra-regional road network as it is directly located on the A61 and east-to-west motorway routes. Goodman has already developed 412,500 sqm of prime logistics space for customers in Monchengladbach including Esprit and Zalando, so when the opportunity arose to purchase more land in this strategic area, we jumped at the chance."
Situated south of Mönchengladbach, the location offers optimum conditions for logistics companies: covering some 60,000 sqm, the site is just two kilometres away from the A61 and features ample parking for cars and trucks. The planned logistics facility will cover an area of almost 33,000 sqm and can be divided into three units roughly equal in size. Unrestricted 24-hour access brings yet another advantage to this complex in the Regiopark. Thanks to Mönchengladbach's central location, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn airports are also less than 65 km away.
The development zone in the Regiopark is completely sold out now that Goodman has purchased the logistics site. 5,000 jobs have been created for the Mönchengladbach area in the logistics zone with a total area of around 120 hectares.
