Goodman Group (Goodman or Group) today announced the appointment of Mr Mark G. Johnson as an Independent Director of Goodman Limited and Goodman Funds Management Limited from 1 June 2020.

Mark brings significant board and executive experience across multiple sectors and an extensive background in audit and accounting, which will allow him to make a valuable contribution to these roles. On joining the Board, Mark will join the Audit Committee. He will subsequently assume the role of Committee Chairman when Stephen Johns becomes Board Chairman upon the retirement of Ian Ferrier following the Annual General Meeting in November 2020.
Mark spent 30 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was CEO from 2008 to 2012 as well as holding positions as Asian Deputy-Chairman and as a member of PwC’s global strategy council. He is currently Chairman of G8 Education Limited and a director at Coca-Cola Amatil Limited. He was formerly a director of Westfield Corporation Limited from 2013 to 2018.
Mark also has extensive experience in the unlisted private sector, government, education and community organisations. He is Chairman of Hospitals Contribution Fund of Australia and Aurecon Group Pty Ltd, a director of Corrs Chambers Westgarth and The Smith Family, and a Councillor at UNSW Sydney.
Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) degree and is a Fellow, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Certified Practicing Accountant Australia and Fellow, Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mark will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting in November 2020.
