Women Build 2022

To help empower disadvantaged women and children in Hong Kong, the Goodman Foundation partnered with Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong to support the completion of three Women Build 2022 projects.

Completion of Women Build 2022 projects

A celebration was held at the newly renovated community centre of PathFinders in Tai Kok Tsui.

Helping migrant domestic workers

To assist PathFinders deliver counselling, education and healthcare services for migrant domestic workers, the Goodman Foundation and Habitat renovated a community centre and a shelter home. 

Upgrading facilities at PathFinders

The project upgraded facilities which offer emergency and temporary accommodation to those migrant domestic workers and their newborn babies who have no alternative accommodation in Hong Kong.

Supporting women and children

Mother's Choice operates a hostel that provides support for young women and their children who cannot be adequately cared for by their families.

Creating a safe space at Mother’s Choice

To create a safer and more welcoming environment, the Goodman Foundation and Habitat renovated outside areas of Child Care Home for at risk children.

An initiative to improve community spaces for some of the city's most vulnerable women and children.
