OzHarvest is a non-denominational charity that rescues excess food which would otherwise be discarded. This excess food is distributed to charities supporting the vulnerable in Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Adelaide.

OzHarvest was founded in Sydney, November 2004. Currently in Sydney OzHarvest delivers 150, 000 meals per month with a fleet of seven vans.

The Goodman Foundation has partnered OzHarvest for the past six years. The Foundation provides business space and funding for two vehicles for the OzHarvest team.

In February 2012, Goodman's General Manager, Jason Little, took part in the inaugural OzHarvest and Qantas CEO CookOff. The event brought together CEOs and celebrity chefs from around Australia who cooked for over 800 Australians doing it tough. Held in front of St Marys Cathedral in Sydney, the event raised $945,000 for OzHarvest and Mission Australia. To read more about the event, click here

In May 2011, Goodman staff participated in "Shout Lunch Fight Hunger" and raised $1,130, which allowed OzHarvest to deliver an additional 1,130 meals to those in need.
