Alza.sk extends partnership with Goodman

Alza has operated in Slovakia since 2004, and is now the largest online retailer of electronic goods in the Czech and Slovak markets. The company has recently experienced rapid growth in its home market as well as expanding into other countries.

Alza has been a Goodman customer since October 2015 when the company selected Goodman Senec Logistics Centre as the location for its distribution centre for Slovakia. Currently Alza leases 15,500 sqm of space at Goodman Senec Logistics Centre, and this new lease agreement will provide Alza with an additional 6,392 sqm of warehousing and 278 sqm of office and social space.

“For Alza, Goodman is a credible partner with extensive ecommerce experience, and its comprehensive and flexible logistics centre in Senec is in a prime location that is optimal for our operations in Slovakia and for our expansion abroad,” said Lukáš Baudyš, Alza.sk Logistics Centre Manager.

Goodman Senec Logistics Centre is growing steadily with HOPI and Quehenberger also having signed additional lease agreements. “This is clear evidence that our customers are seeing the benefits of being in a prime location with high quality service,” said Jan Palek, Goodman Country Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
