With over 20 years' experience in property funds management, investment banking and chartered accounting, James is an Executive Director of Macquarie Group Limited and Co-Head of Macquarie Group’s Real Estate Capital (REC) Division. James’ responsibilities include the oversight, performance and growth of REC’s businesses, including activities in Asia focusing on REIT development and core real estate investment. He was responsible for Macquarie Industrial Trust, which was successfully merged in 2002 with Goodman Hardie Industrial Property Trust to form what became Goodman Group. James is a director on all the Boards of Goodman Group’s listed entities and was Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie ProLogis Trust from listing until August 2005.
