October 2000 – Macquarie Goodman Industrial Trust (MGI) was formed through the merger of Goodman Hardie Industrial Property Trust and Macquarie Industrial Trust and their respective management companies.
November 2001 – Macquarie Goodman Management Limited (MGM) entered into a joint venture with Singapore-based Ascendas Pte Limited.
November 2002 – Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (A-REIT) listed on the Singapore Exchange.
December 2003 – MGM acquired management rights from Colonial First State Investment (NZ) Limited, Manager of Colonial First State Property Trust (renamed Macquarie Goodman Property Trust (MGP)).
February 2005 – MGI and MGM merged through stapling MGI units and MGM shares to create Macquarie Goodman Group (MGQ).
November 2005 – MGQ launched Goodman Australia Industrial Fund in Australia.
December 2005 – MGQ acquired Arlington Securities Limited, a leading property services and investment manager in Europe.
April 2006 – MGQ launched Macquarie Goodman Hong Kong Logistics Fund.
May 2006 – MGQ acquired Eurinpro International SA, a leading European logistics property developer.
November 2006 – MGQ acquired UK business park developer and property investor Akeler Holdings SA.
April 2007 – MGQ acquired leading UK logistics property developer Rosemound Developments Limited.
May 2007 – Macquarie Goodman Asia (a joint-venture company between MGQ and Macquarie Group) acquired 53% of J-REP Co., Ltd, entering into a strategic alliance with this listed Japanese property company.
July 2007 – MGQ rebranded globally as Goodman Group (Goodman) with all businesses united under one brand.
November 2007 – Goodman European Logistics Fund and Celogix Fund merge to create a €0.967 billion pan European logistics vehicle.
March 2008 – Goodman realised A$219.5 million via the sale of its cornerstone investment and management rights in A-REIT.
May 2008 – Goodman disposes of Goodman Property Investors to focus on its integrated specialist industrial business.
October 2008 – Goodman acquires remaining 50% of Macquarie Goodman Asia JV.
